On November 10, 2024, the DNIG Group, a community organization for Nepalese citizens in the UAE, hosted a meetup to connect with new members, address concerns, and plan future initiatives.

The group engaged with potential new members and addressed inquiries from general and prospective members. They also discussed strategies to increase participation from members in Abu Dhabi (AUH) and identify challenges hindering their involvement.

The next meetup is scheduled in the Shabiya-Mussafah area, potentially attracting a larger group. This strategic location expands the reach of DNIG and facilitates a more inclusive gathering.

DNIG also advocates for and supports the community.

The meetup addressed broader issues faced by Nepalese citizens in the UAE. DNIG discussed actively engaging with the Nepal Embassy to advocate for their concerns. This collaborative approach seeks solutions and support for the Nepalese community.

The event concluded with a celebratory cake-sharing, commemorating the DNIG Group’s one-year anniversary in Abu Dhabi.
